OPERATION E-BOOK DROP

Starting in October 2010, I'm participating in this wonderful operation. I'm sending copies of my latest book, Tales From Gundarland, free of charge to folks in the military. It's an award-winning collection of six humorous short stories and two novellas.

In February, 2011, I added Zaftan Entrepreneurs to the list of available books. It's a different take on First Contact stories. In this one, aliens orbit a planet inhabited by fantasy creatures.

Humorous Yarns and Other Stuff is a sampler of my work for folks who aren't familiar with my bizarre sense of humor. The Strange Worlds of Hank Quense describes the cultures in Gundarland and on the zaftan homeworld. These two cultures clash in Zaftan Entrepreneurs. Both HYOS and SWHQ are availabe as free downloads from Smashwords.

TALES FOR THE TROOPS

Since late in 2007 until April 2011, I distributed for free this collection of stories to our military personnel. It was my attempt to show support for our troops. The collection contained ten humorous or satiric short stories, all of which had been previously published. My aim was to provide a brief interval of enjoyment to take their minds off their perilous duties. Since I joined OBED, I've discontinued this ebook.

In Novemember, 2009, the US Army recognized my efforts in distributing books by giving me a Certificate of Appreciation.
