Critiquing Services

I have been writing fantasy and science fiction for a number of years. With more than thirty stores published and hundreds of short stories critiqued during that that time, I am in a unique position to help out other writers, especially new or relatively inexperienced ones. My comments will follow the structure of Build a Better Story and emphasize the principles found there

"....You've given me a glimpse of what motivational character questions I need to ask as I struggle through each draft."

The price is based on length (i.e. word count). Send me an email with the particulars of a project (genre, word count, etc.) and I'll give you a price by return email. As an example, the price for critiquing 2500 word story is $25.00 (USD). Longer stories have a lower per word price.

No romance or horror stories please. I don't read them, I don't write them and I don't consider myself qualified to critique these types of stories.
